About the Ministry
The Phenomenal Woman Network is a global, faith‑based ministry devoted to uplifting women to walk confidently in their God‑ordained calling. Grounded in Scripture and driven by prayer, our community exists to uplift, encourage, and equip women everywhere to live out three foundational pillars:
1. Defining Purpose
We believe every woman is God’s masterpiece, uniquely crafted for a divine assignment. When we grasp that He has prepared good works for us before birth, we can step boldly into our calling with clarity and conviction.
“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].”

- 2016 - Blog Launch
- 2017 December: First Charity Outreach in Ghana for about 200 children in a home, Shai Hills. Donations included food items, stationery, toys, hygiene products
- 2018 February: First Breakfast Meeting for Women covering faith, finances and fashion
- 2019 February: Relentless Pursuit Prayer Retreat
- 2021- The Being Phenomenal Virtual Book Launch
- 2022- Brunch Meeting in Halifax, Canada

2. Community
True growth happens in the context of sisterhood. Here, we pray for one another, bear each other’s burdens, and celebrate every victory. United in humility and love, we reflect the heart of Christ by placing others’ needs alongside our own.

We pursue the fullness of Christ in every aspect of life—spiritual, emotional, relational, professional, and beyond. As branches abiding in the True Vine, we bear lasting fruit that glorifies God and advances His kingdom.

Our Story: Borne out of one woman’s passion, ambition, risk and curiosity.
In 2016, Cornelia “Nelia” Gyemfi stood on her campus, sure she would win the election for Women’s Commissioner. She had campaigned hard, prayed hard, and felt ready. Just before the results, her mother calmly reminded her: “If God says no, let it go.”
When the announcement came, Cornelia did lose. Overcome with emotion, she sat in the campus parking lot and cried. She couldn’t hold it in—her hopes, her plans, her questions all poured out together. Passersby told her to stop, but she knew something deeper was happening.
The next morning, still thinking about that moment, Cornelia wrote her first blog post. She simply told her story: the dream she had, the disappointment, and the lessons learned. She called it “The Phenomenal Women’s Blog.” Each week she shared honest thoughts, Bible verses, and interviews with other women trying to grow in their faith.
Readers began to respond. Women from different schools, workplaces, and homes found hope in her words. Cornelia saw a real need for a stronger connection.
Out of that need came the Phenomenal Woman Network. It grew around three simple goals:
- Defining Purpose – Helping each woman see the good work God made her for.
- Community – Building friendship and support so no one walks alone.
- Fruitful Growth – Encouraging growth in faith, family, work, and more.
What started as one woman’s painful night became home for many to find hope, encouragement, support and passion. Today, the Phenomenal Woman Network stretches across continents, a living testament that sometimes a door must close so a greater vision can emerge. From a tear-streaked parking lot to a global sisterhood, Cornelia’s journey reminds every woman that God’s “no” can be the midwife to her true calling—and that when Zion travails, she brings forth her children in one resounding, triumphant cry- Isaiah 66:8.
